NEED SOMEWHERE TO STORE YOUR STUFF THIS SUMMER?

SGA HAS THE SOLUTION!

 Don’t let this be you! SGA has rented PODS for students to safely and easily store belongings the summer.

Here’s how it works:

On May 9th and 10th (the Wednesday and Thursday of finals week) from 12-5pm, we will have THREE large PODS on campus for you to bring your marked belongings to. The PODS are waterproof, mold proof, and completely weather protected.

The best part?

YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT CASH OR CREDIT CARDS! Simply bring your boxes to the storage unit, fill out the form, and your fee will be charged directly to your student account. 

The cost:

To store any size box (including large bins) is only $15.

Mini-fridges are $20.

Couches/Futons are $40.

Random objects will be charged based on the discretion of the SGA member working. As long as the object is not too obscure this should be fairly cheap.

Don’t own a box? No worries. SGA will be selling them the week before finals for only $2. 

It’s simple and easy, and your belongings will be right here on campus to pick up, no need to worry about transportation.

As of now, the PODS will be located in the Douglass/Bissman/Stevenson parking lot as well as the Holden parking lot. 

Living in Holden next year? Put your belongings in that POD and your belongings will be right there to pick up on move-in day this August!

PODS will open right around the time of move-in as students return to campus.

FEATURED RESOLUTIONS: SGA RES. 11-01 – Allotted funds to tune the pianos on campus in approximately five dorms across campus.

FEATURED MEMBER: KC Sullivan is a junior at The College of Wooster where she is majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Over the previous summer KC researched pharmaceutical degradation in soil and sludge samples taken from waste water treatment facilities.  KC was recently elected as SGA’s president for the 2012 year.

FEATURED COMMITTEE PROJECT: The academic affairs committee, led by Molly McCartt, is currently working with the Lilly program to establish an improved advising program based on major specialization.
